Here, you can subscribe to the next Bbug event about Procedural modeling with Python in Blender.
On the menu :
Thierry will show us his custom tools he created to improve his workflow.
We’ll look at the code and recreate them from scratch.
And then, we’ll try to create some scripts to generate custom door/window procedurally.
If you have any question and/or suggestion, don’t hesitate to ask.
This workshop will be held by @tmaes, which is an architect using Blender professionnaly.
Basic experience with Blender and Python is recommended but anybody willing to try out is welcome.
The training will be held in French and/or English depending on the attendees, start at 10:00 and end around 18:00 at the Botkamp
As usual, we have 10 seats. First come, first served (In case of conflict, priority will be given to BBUG members).
- @grungi_ankhfire (morning)
- @nick_van_den_broeck (Maybe)
- @quenting (morning)
Two seat left available
Live & Learn
here are some precisions about the subjects we will work around:
AM : Basic procedural primitive: house, simple parametrable (even afterwards) LPM object:
For PM I’d like to create some tools I created years ago for 3dsmax: floor maker, maybe windows or doors maker if we have time.
If anyone has questions or suggestions, I’m open.
(I fixed the video-thing, you just need to paste the link and not the embed code, Vanilla won’t get the iframe this way (dailymotion doesn’t seem to work).
I cannot really say no to procedural city generation, so even amongst a super busy schedule, I will be attending at the very least the morning portion (as with Quentin, I do not wish to deprive someone of a spot). I *should* be there for the whole thing, but it depends on how other things progress tomorrow… ^^ Looking forward to seeing you all though!
Thanks a whole lot fir the workshop, @tmaes . It was really interesting!
